Shampoo for the Year!

Since I've started working and studying for the CPA, I haven't had as much time to devote to couponing.
But when I'm able to get crazy deals, I get REALLY excited!

A couple weeks ago, I got all of this for just $5.36!!!

Anyone need any shampoo/conditioner?!  ;)

Things of Late...

Studying for the CPA has been grueling.  Grueling in the sense that I have next to no motivation to study for it, even though I do want it!

Amazingly, I’ve been at my job for 9+ months now – I’ve lasted nearly a year!  The firm has been really good to me over the past 9 months, and it’s been such a great fit.  I feel truly blessed!

Also, the hubs has decided to leave his job of nearly 7 yrs to take on another position he’s more passionate about.  The only downside is that it’s out in West Hollywood, so the 1.5 hrs commute each way will be a pain.  Nonetheless, I’m so proud of him.  I’m so proud of his hard work - especially sticking it out for two years to put me through grad school.  And now, his drive and courage to start something new for us.  I’m proud of my man!

3 Years = Leather!

August 2, 2012
Celebrating 3 Years!

Time flies!  It seems like yesterday when we went on our first date.

We decided to celebrate in a low-key manner this year.  T bought tickets to Pixar in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl.  We had a quaint picnic pre-show, with s'more stuffed cookies I had just baked.

AND...since the traditional gift at 3 years is leather, I've decided to buy T a new wallet.

On other news, a coworker got let go this past week.  We both started at the firm at the same time, and it was sad/hard to see him have to pack up his things.  But it's been a great reminder of how BLESSED & GRATEFUL I should be to be employed.
